This past weekend was so wonderful. I was very caught up and did not write down nearly enough and did not take as many photos as I should have, but that goes to show how much fun I was having! I got to spend quality time with my roommates, Morgan, and two girls also in ISA–Maddie and Katie–that I hadn’t known prior and that was definitely what made the trip. All around I was in great company and was happy to make some new friends.

We stayed in the Urban Camper, which was basically a huge lodge with tents inside it. At first, it was cool, but very quickly it got musty, stuffy and gross. Oh well! We went to the Gasoline Grill, recommended by lots, and it was SO GOOD. One of the best burgers I’ve ever had–until I saw how much I paid for it. We beep-bopped around the city until we had dinner at “Surt” (pizza)! After that, we found a fun bar and played cards and then went to the Old Irish Bar and danced.

The next day we ran around the city some more and thrifted. I got this awesome hoodie that I did not need but it’s sick. We went to the Glyptoteket museum and it may have been my favorite museum I’ve been to so far. The paintings and sculptures were so breathtaking and colorful. We got lunch at “On the Sunny Side” and walked by the river. Later we went on a bar crawl and the best part was that there was free makeup at one place. We went all out and it was AWESOME. Katie’s makeup was horrible it was so funny. I thought that concept was very cool and would totally do it again.

On Sunday we went on a boat tour which was very cold but cool to see the city in a different way. Later we went to Rosenborg Castle and then Ava, Katie and I went to Joe & the Juice and explored some more. We had a roommate dinner at Delphine Dinner which had a really cool design and structure, and finished the night and trip off with an AMAZING bubble waffle ice cream sundae at Pantella. The trip was money-draining but fulfilling in all the other ways. I love Copenhagen!
